Introduction

Hello, 

This is a tutorial about a freeware PDF creator software which I use every day. It is so easy to work with and also totally freeware. 

It is called Cute PDF. With this software, you can convert any document type to PDF. It does not matter, if you can print it, you can convert it to PDF with CutePDF. 

Download and Installation

• You can download CutePDF from via this link http://www.cutepdf.com/download/CuteWriter.exe 
• You need also a converter, download it from this link http://www.cutepdf.com/download/converter.exe 

After downloading, double click the setup file. 

Follow the instructions of the setup wizard. After finishing the installation it can ask you to download the converter. Accept the download and let it install. 

After finishing all these, you will see a new virtual printer called CutePDF writer. 

You can change some properties of this virtual printer. Go to the printers section of your Windows and click on properties. 

You can choose several tabs to adjust your configuration.

Adjust Internet Explorer print settings

To be able to adjust the print settings of a page like

• Printing background color
• Printing Headers and Footers

You should open Internet Explorer and click on File - Setup

Now you can change these settings. If you do not want to print Headers or Footers, change these fields and click on OK. 

How to create the PDF document

Creating the PDF's with CutePDF is very easy. 

• For example. Lets create a PDF of the Google.com webpage. We go to www.goole.com 
• Now we see the page of www.google.com 
  

• Now use the CRTL+P key to give a print command. Choose Cute PDF writer as your printer and click on Print.

•  In the following screen, you must give your PDF document a name. In this case we call it google.pdf.
  

• Click the Save button. The PDF document is now created on the Desktop location.  

You can use this same process to make PDF documents out of any kind of program. Word, Excel, Notepad, Other Pdf's....etc. What you see is what you get.
