How to transfer Items to different locations....

Transfer Items

This command is a more advanced form of the Move Item command. There are 6 sub commands where you can choose of. 

1. Move To
2. Copy To
3. Copy
4. Paste
5. Copy Item Link
6. Copy Item Link (External)

• Select the Item and click on Tree - Transfer Items command or
• Right click on the selected item and choose Transfer Item command from the menu. 

Move To

Move To command gives you the following window. Choose a location an click on OK. The Item will move to the selected location. 

Copy To

Copy To command will give you the following window. Choose a location and click on Copy. The selected item will be copied to the selected location, leaving a copy behind at the original location. 

Copy

Copy command will copy the Item and his Subitems to the Clipboard. You can then select a different location and Item and click on Paste command to transfer the Item and his Subitems to the desired location. 

• The Item and Subitems are copied under "Why My Notes Keeper" item. 

Copy Item Link

Copy Item Link will copy the selected Item location as an Internal Hyperlink. 

• Let's demonstrate this. We will select the "Save" item and click on Transfer Items - Copy Item Link. 

• Now we go to a page, it does not matter, it can be the same Item's page or another Item. 
  Choose CTRL+V or Edit-Paste command (or right click on the Editor Pane and choose the Paste command)

• You will see a hyperlink is pasted to the editor pane. When you double click on this link, it will bring you to the original location (item). Just like an Browser Hyperlink.  
  
  

Copy Item Link (External)

I don't understand this command, I have to ask to the Admin, what is the meaning of this command?
