Tags
As far as I understand, Tags are hidden titles or descriptions that you can add to an Item.
For example,
- You have a project with several levels.
- You need to assign 1 ore more levels within the same project.
- So, when you search for Level1, you should see all the projects that should belong to Level1.
- Let's give some print screens for this example.
We have a project with 5 levels. We will have to have in mind the following Tag names.
- Level1
- Level2
- Level3
- Level4
- Level5
- We select the Item (project) that belongs to Level5. Right click on the Item and choose Tags command.
- In the following window, we will add the Tags called Level1, Level2, Level3, Level4, Level5. Separate them with a comma. Click on OK when you are finished.
Now select again 1 by 1 all the Items which belong to Level5 and add the Tag Level5 by checking the box of Level5. Click OK when you are done. Do the same for all of the Items that belong to Level5.
- Now, go to View - Task Pane - Tags.
- The Task Pane will appear on the right side of MNK. You will see that the Item called "Why My Notes Keeper" has all the tags, because these tags are selected within this Item. So when you click Level1 or Level2 or all the other Levels,Item "Why My Notes Keeper" will appear on the bottom of The Task Pane.
- But, when we select Level5, you will see not only "Why MY Notes Keeper" Item, but also all the other Items that are checked with Level5. This will be the following Items,
- "Save"
- "Introduction"
- "Print"
